Orchard Village is a nonprofit organization serving people with developmental disabilities in our residential, vocational and in-home programs.

We are currently looking for a full-time Program Coordinator who will primarily be responsible for administering the approved Department of Human Services trainings to staff and providing benefits supports for the people we serve.  This individual will also maintain staff records and client entitlements and records, support quality enhancement and program operations in general.

The desired individual is fast learner, has an outstanding attention to detail, charismatic personality, and strong focus on customer service to support the people receiving services and agency personnel.  We will train the right candidate.

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, flexible, some evening availability required for training

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain qualification to teach IL Department of Human Services (DHS) curriculum to Direct Support Professionals and QIDPs; provide this training on a frequency that will meet the needs of the agency’s hiring pattern and with flexibility to accommodate full and part-time staff schedules.

• Develop course outlines, learning objectives, and course materials; analyze learning needs of employees; develop and implement methods to evaluate effectiveness of training provided.

• Initiate, maintain and ensure maximum benefits and entitlements from government and private services are secured and maintained for persons receiving services; maintain files in a timely and accurate manner.

• Provide administrative support to Quality Assurances department, including data tracking, auditing of necessary DHS paperwork and other program support.

• Foster relationships with community members that can support achievement of outcomes for the people we serve.

• Other duties as assigned
