Manager, Chapter Quality Network
The American Academy of Pediatrics, the nation’s leading advocacy organization for children’s healthcare, seeks a project manager to join our fast-paced Department of Community, Chapter, & State Affairs in this exciting new role. This position would be a good fit for someone who has a non-clinical, programmatic or project management background within a non-profit organization.
This individual will help to improve the lives of children with asthma while managing a quality improvement learning collaborative for AAP Chapters and members. The project manager will provide comprehensive project management for the development and implementation of the Chapter Quality Network (CQN). Duties will include coordinating training sessions, managing learning collaboratives, overseeing build of a web-enabled data collection tool, data analysis and project communications.
Mandatory Job Qualifications
Qualified candidates will have Bachelors degree in related discipline required, with a focus on health education, program evaluation, quality improvement or measurement preferred. Three to four years experience in program development, implementation, and evaluation, including projects with multiple sites and involving technology platforms required. Also seeking experience in conducting basic secondary research (e.g. literature reviews) and performing quantitative and qualitative analysis. Some travel and weekend work required.
Desired Qualifications
Masters degree preferred. Healthcare or quality improvement (e.g., Model for Improvement, Six Sigma, Lean, etc.) experience and knowledge of quality improvement methodology and implementation strongly preferred.
