Provide executive and administrative support to the President and CEO, operating with initiative, professionalism, and discretion. Prompt and track tasks; organize and maintain schedules, records, and files; coordinate arrangements for meetings and events; monitor and process business communications. Handle a variety of administrative functions related to management, board, and organizational needs and operations. Work in coordination with, and sometimes at the direction and in support of, the Assistant to the President. Serve in a lead role among institutional support staff.
Mandatory Job Qualifications
Minimum of college associate’s degree; bachelor's degree preferred. Advanced administrative office skills are essential, including computer skills for word processing, management and conversion of digital documentation, e-mail, and record keeping. Must have at least five years experience in executive support role.
Ability to develop and maintain broad knowledge and understanding of the organization's operations and policies to assist the President and CEO, and to interact effectively with staff and others who come into contact with the Office of the President. Work independently, but in cooperation with staff across departments and with outside associates. Approach tasks proactively and with a high degree of accuracy, while handling multiple priorities. Excellent organizational and written/oral communication skills. Must maintain confidentiality.
