Matchmaker, matchmaker make me a match. As Hodel said in Fiddler on the Roof, "Well, somebody has to arrange the matches, young people can't decide these things themselves."

TheJMom is a dating site for you, but really, it's for your mom. Your mom (or dad, or uncle, or whoever wants to play matchmaker) makes you a profile, and then searches other profiles to find you a perfect match and then set you up. Matchmaking is an important part of Jewish culture.
